Perth's Backyard

It's fair to say that the Perth Hills are the Backyard to the city. From bushwalking, mountain biking, picnics, visiting a hills pub, or accessing a number of historical sites, there is a lot that's unique and special about this part of Perth, if not the world.

We reckon that plonking more suburban estates into the Hills is misguided and a lost opportunity to do something better and something special with this area of natural beauty (which sits in a biodiversity hotspot).

If our famous Perth beaches are the "front yard", then it's logical and sensible to consider that the Hills are in fact, "Perth's backyard". We're all involved here in protecting something special, not just for us, but for future generations to come. This issue of urbanisation affects ALL PERTH RESIDENTS.

See you on the 7th April 😉 Sculpture Park 10:30 to 11:30 am
