City of Swan

As we count down to our RALLY 10AM THIS SUNDAY at SCULPTURE PARK MUNDARING... $atterley’s scheduled tweaked ’North $toneville’ dangerous and destructive plan (due TOMORROW - Jan 31), has caught the eye of our Mundaring Shire’s neighbour, the City of Swan.

We thank Cr Aaron Bowman - City of Swan for adding the proposed development to this week’s City of Swan’s agenda.

$atterley’s planned Urban townsite, (which will remain Urban, regardless of any amendments), includes an un-tested Waste Water Treatment Plant on Swan’s boundary, risking contamination of pristine Suzannah Brook catchment and a registered Aboriginal Heritage site.

The current plan ALSO doesn’t include any traffic modelling for Swan, despite Roland and Stoneville Roads in Swan facing heavy impacts and big upgrades, likely subsidised by City of Swan ratepayers! That’s despite no financial rates return to City of Swan from either $atterley OR from 2,360 people over the road at 'North Parkerville' which will follow North $toneville.

We encourage our Gidgegannup neighbours and supporters to attend the Swan Agenda briefing 6pm, Wednesday 1 February at Midland Town Hall.

You can request to give a deputation by emailing council.meetings@swan.wa.gov.au.
