Save Perth Hills General Meeting - 8th Aug

Today we showcased the hard work and many achievements of our Committee and our incredible Community, in the on-going battle against $atterley and the Anglican Church’s dangerous and destructive North $toneville proposal.

We wanted to share with you and say special thanks to Federal Member for Hasluck, Ken Wyatt for his videomessage of support from Canberra. Ken talks about the remnant ancient forests that make up our unique region - it's a special and beautiful message.

Thanks too, to 70+ loyal locals who joined us, along with Jessica Shaw MLA (Labor MLA Swan Hills) and Lorna Harper MLC, our councillors, President Daw, Cr Jeans and Cr Collins, and Mundaring Council candidates Paige McNeil (Central), Neridah Zlatnik and Melanye Warwrick (East Ward).

Another SAT (Appeal) mediation is scheduled next Thursday - as $atterley tries, for the 8th time, to overcome insurmountable bushfire risks and environmental obstacles.

Thanks to your unwavering support, we’re making great progress on behalf of our bushfire prone community, and potentially, for other bushfire regions.

Keen to see that elusive Wooroloo Bushfire Inquiry to be called... (waiting, waiting, waiting...)
