The clock is ticking for Planning Minister Rita Saffioti MLA to CALL IN $atterley and the Anglican Church’s appeal against the REJECTION of North Stoneville.
We want the Minister to achieve a PERMANENT END to dangerous and destructive development at North Stoneville.
The Minister has some choices on how she can respond.
The one that we’d ALL like to see - is to CALL IN THE APPEAL - which Rita has the power to do by September 9.
The WAPC’s INDEPENDENT panel, which REJECTED North Stoneville, doesn’t want this development any more than we do... which is great news! ✅
But we need to make sure the Minister knows our community, like the WAPC, remains DEAD AGAINST this development.
***** CALL TO ACTION *****
Email the Minister to CALL IT IN, AND CC Premier McGowan, before the 9th of September.
The Government’s doing a GREAT JOB protecting us from COVID 19. All we want is the SAME community protection against this dangerous development that risks lives in the Hills.
A simple sentence is all it needs - heartfelt, authentic - and polite 🙂
Or a couple of paragraphs explaining your reasons:
Bushfire risks, a fire trap development, huge traffic risks, environmental destruction, loss of Perth’s Hills beauty and culture, water shortages... the list goes on...
But, we must keep it polite, because this is important stuff, and after-all, we’re a really decent community 😉
