A year ago today, September 15, 2025, $atterley and the Anglican Church's appeal, against relentless rejections of their dangerous and destructive proposed North $toneville plan, began in WA's State Tribunal...

We continue to await the decision.

To mark the one-year milestone, Save Perth Hills has written to North $toneville landowner, Anglican Archbishop, Kay Goldsworthy. We’re encouraging the Archbishop to accept the ‘elegant solution’ and agree to Rezone Urban North $toneville to Rural Residential. This would allow a minimum block size of 5 acres.

No Government department objects to a Rezone, which would enable a bushfire safer and more environmentally respectful outcome.

Regardless of the SAT decision, a Rezone would reduce bushfire risks to thousands of extra people and save thousands of Endangered Black Cockatoo-habitat-supportive trees.

And so, as we wait for SAT’s decision, we now also wait for the Archbishop’s Rezone response...
