Within 3 hours of WA Today’s report being published, $atterley countered with an article in a subscription-only on-line business news feed announcing that $atterley is ‘discussing with WA’s Planning Commission’, how to progress North $toneville - and that 76-year old Nigel $atterley intends to ‘work until he dies.’

Time is ticking on $atterley's LAST CHANCE to STOP and Surrender its dangerous and destructive North $toneville plan.

Tomorrow, (Friday 8 March) Save Perth Hills is back in the State Tribunal (SAT), where $atterley and its Anglican Diocese business partners, including Sam '(Rio') Walsh and Archbishop Kay Goldsworthy, can choose to DITCH their DOOMED Disaster Plan, or face a MASSIVE Corporate FAIL in a very PUBLIC Appeal.

A 1990s URBAN TINDERBOX TOWNSITE has no place in the 21st Century's Climate Change Emergency. Additionally - 'North $TONEVILLE now faces URBAN ISOLATION - and reduced viability ($$$), because 730 homes, planned over the road at 'North PARKERVILLE', have been abandoned in favour of just 67, five-acre-and-larger lots. Council will consider that plan on Tuesday - which Shire officers' say 'supports the shift away from a more urban town site'. ARE YOU LISTENING, $ATTERLEY?

What's going on at Mundaring Shire?

Without warning, or reason, the significantly downsized “North Parkerville” plan, (NOT North $toneville), has been pulled, by the Shire, from tomorrow’s Council meeting.

So hold those deputations folks!

This is an inexplicable withdrawal, subject to an indefinite delay, of a significant Community issue that holds long-term planning consequences for the Hills. The Community deserves an urgent explanation from the Shire.

‘North Parkerville’ was originally 730 URBAN lots. The developer downsized it to 67 Rural Residential (RR) lots of 5 acres and larger, with firefighting-tanks on each site. It was to be discussed at Council tomorrow night.

($atterley and the Anglican Church stubbornly refuse to consider an RR option for the 33-year-REJECTED URBAN North $toneville townsite – across the road.)

But WHY the withdrawal?

WHAT’s the ‘later date’?

AND – WHY was the Item ON the Council’s Agenda, minus any Planning Officers’ reports?

Ratepayers pay the Shire to work on our behalf.

We require a REASON for the withdrawal - to demonstrate Shire TRANSPARENCY.

We require a new DATE to demonstrate Shire ACCOUNTABILITY.
